In this posting i would like to show how impressed I am of Berlin and about the interesting vacation I spent Germany main city a week ago. I have wished to see this interesting country for a long time, so I took the first possibility of a free period I had and decided to see Berlin. I have many friends there and after a few preparations and not so nice travelling, I arrived in my Berlin apartment for the next days. I wasn’t fully aware if i was in the right place, I simply remember that I really desired a bathroom and a bed, that’s all; and even got some regrets that had started this trip.
Yet, in the morning everything has changed and I couldn’t wait to have a look around this city. The weather was great for the long tour I have planned and in fact I was really surprised to find that there was a metro station very in close proximity to my Vacation accommodation in Berlin and I arrived at the city center within 10 minutes. Because it was Monday, my friends were working throughout the day and I had to wander by myself. That day I planned to visit the Tower, of course, the famous square Alexanderplatz and the Brandenburg Gate. I was certainly amazed of what I saw, of the contrast between the medieval and the modern buildings, which I have ever thought would be tasteless, but it was in reality really refined and not irritating. I decided to keep the other attractive places for the rest of my vacation when several of my friends will demonstrate and tell me more about the real atmosphere of this place. I just have heard amazing things about the parties and the entertaining aspect of Berlin and just had to try it.
